Top 5 Feel Good Books


Cathy Cassidy recently wrote a piece for the Guardian newspaper, lisiting her favourite feel good books. So inspired by Cathy, I thought that I’d make my own list just for you!

She says “We all love a book that makes us feel all warm inside, glad to be alive, even though they are often touching, bittersweet stories.” And she’s quite right! Life can be tough sometimes, and reading a book that touches your heart can be the best sort of comfort around.

Here are my favourite feel good reads:

1/ Are You There God, It’s Me, Margaret by Judy Blume

This is one of my all time favourite books. Judy Blume is brilliant at openings, and it starts like this:
