Matthew Ouimet is 2 years old. He has Primary Hyperoxaluria Type 1. He just received a liver/kidney transplant and is at UCSF fighting like a little warrior to receive and keep these treasured gifts. Prior to surgery, Matthew’s Mom, Kristi Wisecarver -Ouimet was driving 6 days a week from their home in Antioch, CA to UCSF (University of CA San Fransisco) for dialysis and to prep Matthew in the hopes that he would some day receive these organs. As you can imagine, bills are piling up! The Ouimet family’s other worries should not be financially based.

Today’s podcast is an Irish tale of two shepherds. When a white butterfly flies out of one of the shepherd’s mouth while he is sleeping, the other follows it until he reaches a horse skull. Once he returns, the now awake shepherd tells him about how he discovered a castle in his dreams. Be sure to tune in!
In this story, each of the men make a journey. What has been your favorite journey? Comment below for a chance to win a copy of Tales of Wisdom and Wonder! The contest closes 1 January at midnight EST and 2 January at 5am GMT.

Stop by and give it a whirl!
